See suggested systems listed below. To save time, we don’t present you with multiple systems in the same price range with similar sound. It will be what we consider the best in that price range. Once we know your general budget for a sound system we can bring a demo system out for you to listen to. So our o-site demo service is really helpful. When listening to an audio system in a store, it’s hard to imagine how it will sound at home. So, we work with the niche market of ‘non-invasive audio systems’ at somewhat lower prices.
jack up the bass (80%?) and speaker volumes (65%?).in Windows lower the volume in the master panel control (20%?).this will allow you to maintain good deep bass without having to blast your speakers.i read that tip online and it worked verrrryy well.Resources for Life offers ‘Audio Services’ to assist people with existing home audio systems as well as help with purchasing a new audio system for your home or office. SP2500 just has the slight edge in the aspects above.įor anyone with sp2500.on the control pod. Though the sp2500 does sound better overall it's NOT a HUGE difference.they both sound very good/similar in terms of sound quality.
I paid $160 for my sp2500.and would do it again.tbh, the build quality alone compared to the Klipsch (cheaper material compared to sp2500.the speaker wire clips in the back are the worst!) are worth the premium to me. Klipsch can get very loud.but it loses some clarity unlike the sp2500. Only thing Klipsch has over it was the mids (ie: background music), which can be heard easily compared to the sp2500 (tho changing music modes on sp2500 might help with this). I thought i provide an update.for anyone interested.after some serious testing with both speaker systems 2 months ago.i decided on sp2500.overall its better than Klipsch.better vocals/instruments, bass (cleaner), and build quality. PS: Klipsch speakers have the ability to get significantly louder than the sp2500.i would even go to say the Klipsch can probably get x2 as loud if need be.I don't need that ability.but they can get very loud. will rerun tests after i get replacements. Right now leaning a little toward sp2500.thanks for you help guys. Overall, both are great.can't really go wrong either way. However, I will say that the Corsair bass sometimes sounds a little cleaner (deeper like a "thump") to me.the klipsch sounds a little more forced (like a "boom").lighter thump vs louder boom.sorry, hard to explain. where as the sp2500 has weaker bass.but u can jack it up. sometimes too much.but u can always lower it. there is a balance somewhere here.the sp2500 seems to "pop" the vocals, while the klipsch seems to have a flatter line with vocals and background music (not really a "pop").īase-wise the klipsch has more muscle. i couldn't hear it as well on the sp2500. That being said, the background music when the singer was singing (in the verve pipe video) was louder/clearer on the Klipsch than the sp2500. better than the klipsch, which lost some clarity of the instruments. A good example of that was on the Patrica Barber video around 7 minutes. Im still waiting on my replacement sp2500 to do a proper test (1 speaker doesn't work correctly).but 1 speaker vs 1 speaker.sp2500 vocals and instruments sound clearer/sharper.
Will do another update after I game on them. Leaning toward SP2500.as long as RMA fixes the issues. That being said.I think the Corsair subwoofer *might* be defective. Klipsch produces some serious bass even at like 50%. They told me that is not normal.Īs for subwoofer.right now the Klipsch seems more powerful.a lot more force.Corsair subwoofer sounds clean and not as over-powering.but they actually feel a little too weak.I have to jack them up to 80% or so to get a good effect.
I also get a buzzing sound from the Corsair SP2500 speaker when I put my PC in sleep mode.i have to turn off or mute the speakers. my right speaker is not as loud, its a lot more flat than my left speaker.I have an RMA on it. Here is the issue with the Corsair ems like the product is slightly defective. I only tested with 1 speaker for each of them.įYI - When I received the SP2500 the box was dented. I just did a quick youtube music video and pandora test.right now the Corsair SP2500 sound better overall.the vocals are clearer/sharper than the Klipsch.
